Do You Know the Manufacturing Technique of Flammulina velutipes?

Flammulina velutipes is one of the earliest cultivated edible fungi in China. At present, the cultivation and production has been popularized all over the country and has become one of the main varieties of edible fungi.

The traditional industrialized bottle cultivation of yellow Flammulina velutipes has some problems, such as low yield, brown stipe base and thin fruiting body stipe. At present, the industrialized cultivation of yellow Flammulina velutipes mainly adopts bag cultivation method.

The main production processes of modern yellow flammulina velutipes include:

1.Medium formula

In addition to the medium formula of industrialized bottle culture, most factories use the medium formula based on cottonseed shell.

Formula 1: Cottonseed Shell 78%, bran 10%, corn flour 10%, lime 2%.

Formula 2: Cottonseed Shell 39%, waste cotton 39%, bran 10%, corn flour 10%, lime 2%.

2.Bagging

Using a special bagging machine to pack bags, or manually pack bags. Inserting a plastic rod into the bag. Finally, puting a plastic ring on the bag mouth, sealing it with plastic film, or tie the mouth with rope.

3.Sterilization

Using atmospheric or high-pressure sterilization equipment for sterilization. The normal pressure sterilization time is about 12 ~ 18 hours (depending on the loading). Autoclave, sterilize at 121 ℃ for 3 ~ 4 hours.

4. Inoculating

Liquid and solid strains can be used as industrialized strains of Flammulina velutipes. Liquid strains are inoculated with inoculation equipment. Solid strains are inoculated manually, and the strains are dug out from the bottle and inoculated in the mouth of the bag. Inoculation is conducted in a sterile environment in the inoculation room or in the inoculation box. After the strain is connected, the bag mouth is sealed with paper.

5. Cultivating and hair management

Placing the bacteria bag horizontally on the rack or vertically. The cultivating temperature shall be controlled at 16 ~ 18 ℃, the humidity shall be about 70%, and it shall be kept away from light. After the mycelium grows full, it enters the mushroom management.

6.Mushroom management

Mushroom production management mainly includes scratch fungus management, bud promotion, fruiting body growth and development management, harvest and post harvest management.

The specific steps are as follows: scratching bacteria manually or with special equipment, and diging out the surface bacteria; the bacteria bags treated with scratch bacteria shall be discharged vertically or horizontally on the bedstead for mushroom production management; when the fruiting body of yellow Flammulina velutipes grows 3 ~ 4cm out of the bag mouth, puting a 20 ~ 22cm 40 ~ 42cm plastic bag on the bag mouth, tie the mouth with a rubber band at the upper end, and leaving a hole with a diameter of 2 ~ 3cm. When the fruiting body of yellow Flammulina velutipes grows 15 ~ 20cm, or 8 ~ 10cm,you can harvest it.
