February 1^st , 2022 is the Chinese Lunar New Year. The Spring Festival is the most important festival for Chinese people.

Although the Spring Festival is set on the first day of the first lunar month, the activities of the Spring Festival are not limited to the first day of the first lunar month. From about seven days before the Chinese new year, people begin to offer sacrifices to stoves, sweep dust, buy new year goods, paste window flowers, wash their hair and bathe, put on lanterns and decorations, etc. all these activities have a common theme, that is, "farewell the old and welcome the new". During the Spring Festival, relatives and friends get together to have a reunion dinner, the elders give red envelopes to their younger generation. People will also hold a varieties of cultural activities during the Spring Festival, including lion and dragon dances, temple fairs, Yangko and so on. The Spring Festival is a festival of joy, harmony and family reunion. It is also a carnival and eternal spiritual pillar for people to express their longing for happiness and freedom.

So our office will be closed from January 30^th to Febrary 6^th of 2022. We will return on Monday 7^th of February.
